The Na Příkopě Street connects the upper part of Wenceslas Square to Náměstí Republiky. The street is the most expensive one in Prague, concerning rental prices for offices and shops. It is the main shopping artery in Prague with many
of the world best known brands.
The street was created in the middle ages during the construction of the New Town. The street actually leads to the spot where the fortifications of the Old Town ended and the New Town started.
