Description
This tower is one of the most attractive in Prague. From its walkway, you can see the entire Prague centre. It was built following the wishes of the Jesuit University rector; its construction was necessary for the further development of mathematics and astronomy. What is unique
about the tower is that since 1750 there has been constant astronomy and climate observations. Throughout its history, the tower has been equipped with various measuring instruments, and the resulting data play a significant role for instance in monitoring climates changes.
