Description
The early Baroque church seamlessly integrated into a street line of houses at Nerudova Street was built between 1691 and 1717. The architectural plans are attributed to Jean Baptist Mathey. The
central construction based on a cross horizontal layout was made for the Order of the Theatins. To complete the church, renowned Baroque architect Jan Blažej Santini-Aiche was also involved.
