Monument to the Victims of Communism

Description

In 2002, a monument dedicated to the victims of the Communist regime was unveiled at the bottom of the Petřín Hill. The author of the monument is sculptor Olbram Zoubek. The monument represents seven figures made of

bronze walking down a staircase slowly transforming into torsos. The bronze stripe in the middle of the monument shows the number of people who were killed, incarcerated or exiled because of the Communist regime.
