Description
The Neo-Gothic church at Vinohrady's Náměstí Míru was built in 1890 following architect Josef Mocker´s plan. Inside the triple-nave brick-made basilica with a transversal nave in the shape of a cross were placed the remains
of St. Ludmila and St. Wenceslas. The two 60-meter tall slim towers characteristically dominate Vinohrady. The decoration is the work of renowned artists, sculptor Josef Václav Myslbek and painter František Ženíšek.
