The very widely diffused Blue Frankish (Frankovka) has a typical cherry, sour cherry, paprika and pepper bouquet with mineral undertones. With longer maturing it gains jam touches.
The wine is rich in interesting acids and tannins with cinnamon flavor. In young wines the tones are harder. It is best served with dark meats, mutton as well as game.
