A major Czech politician and representative of the Czech Estates. He belonged to the moderate Catholics.
His status can be attested by the fact that he was even offered the Polish royal crown, which he turned down. In 1585 he
received the highest imperial Order of the Golden Fleece, becoming the fourth person to receive this Order in the Czech kingdom. After his death, he was succeeded by his brother Peter Vok, who was the last of the Rosenbergs.
