This monumental panorama was designed by Luděk Marold in 1898 and depicts the well-known Battle at Lipany which took place on May 30, 1434. The people of Prague and the Union of Nobles beat the most radical Hussites lead
by Prokop the Great. This battle ended the long-term tension in the Czech lands and a period of tempered Hussitism ensued. The picture measures a total of 1045 m² with a height of 11 meters and a length of 95 meters.
