Description
The Fruit Market Square used to be part of the new market. Today, it is a rather quiet part of town in the middle of Prague Hustle and bustle, with on one side the Estates Theatre and on the other the Black Virgin Cubist House.
It is also on this square that is situated the main entrance of the Carolinum, the Charles University historical building, oldest of its kind North of the Alps. Every year a large public ice-rink is set up on the square.
